Saint Johnsville

This small village rounded off to around 1,500 or so people has dwindled down to a retirement village from the industrial days when it had many businesses to offer.

With the population of the town and village together the population is about 4,000.

When the businesses followed the railroad and canalways, St.Johnsville grew fast along with the rest of the Mohawk Valley. It was made mostly of factories, farms, mom and pops stores, motels, bars and beautifull homes. Many of these buildings and homes still stand today.

In 2002-2003 the High School had new additions built for better accomodation and a new look. Graduating classes have 20-30 students.
