Mission statement

"It's in their hands," Terry Potoczny said.
"We've gone as far as we can go." Terry said this to Assemblyman Paul Tonko because he and the workers had given the time and manpower they could give. Now they needed more funding, and that would have to come from deeper pockets.

After digging, cutting trees, and bulldozing the weeds, garbage, and removing 175 tires that collected over the years, two workers Terry Potoczny and Ernie Gee, and others began to see their vision. Their vision is to motivate tourists back into the area. The area would be a quiet picnic area where families could enjoy a piece of
history and fish, walk, bike etc.

They have planted wild flowers, made docks for fishing, and have picnic tables made & donated by a high school shop class. Terry also gives lectures and presentations on the restoration. Any donations, volunteer help, or just spreading the word will help the effort. Lock33@newyork.com
